This early stage start-up needed everything. The process started by working with the client to find a name for the site, create the brand (typography, colors, etc) and direction and find an appropriate niche. From there the site direction started to take form. A sitemap was created initially allowing everyone to give input on the site.
Wire frames were created based on direction and following the sitemap. The wire frames provided a frame work to have conversations with all the key players in the organization about what the process was for the user and which items were going to be sold initially.
Working prototypes were then created from the detailed wire frames. A few of the pages are shown here.
Testing was imperative and changes were made based on the results of the user testing.
